LETS TALK: DASANI DROPS :)

Yup...It's time to #Flavorfy

Out of all the super tasty flavors, my favorite flavor is Cherry Pomegranate! Other flavor options
are Grape, Strawberry Kiwi, Pink
Lemonade, Pineapple Coconut, and Mixed
Berry.

Zero Calories
Per 8 fl oz serving :) Who doesn't love ZERO CALORIES?? :)

One of my favorite perks of the Dasani Drops packaging is the size of the bottle. If you didn't know,I am a photographer that loves to shoot outside. No matter where I am going, I can tuck this little jewel away in my purse or photo bag while I'm out shooting!!

It is super important to know how long these tasty water boosters last. Dasani Drops have a 12 month shelf life if unopened. Once that seal has been broken, you have 30 days to drink away!! Trust me, you will empty it well before the month's end :)

The amount of drops you use is completely based on your personal taste. Each bottle 1.9 fluid ounce bottle will make 32 calorie free 8 fluid oz servings.

I really enjoy using the Pink Lemonade Dasani Drops in my refreshing infused water. I use one large lemon, one cucumber, and a full jug of water. After pouring the desired amount of water in a glass, I #flavorfy :) I would describe the flavor as crisp and refreshing! I love love love it and the recipe is mine-o-mine! You should try it out :)

Dasani Drops can be found in your local grocer and are available in 6 super tasty flavors :) If you have any additional questions regarding Dasani Drops, please visit http://www.dasani.com/faq/?goto=drops .

My Newest Guilty Pleasure

My Newest Guilty Pleasure

I have fallen in love with watching ABC's "The Taste"!! This is a show completely dedicated to the blind tasting of a dish served on a spoon! The contestants only have one chance to catch the attention of the judges and secure immunity. As with any show featuring a host of personalities there is a fair share of smack talk and drama; however, the food shines through every time!! I'm just waiting on 2013 to prove that we have truly been innovative and release smell-o-vision!! On the scale of 5, I give The Taste a 4! Read a bit more about the program below and consider giving it a try! If anything you will walk away with amazing inspiration for new dishes of your own! ~ Destanee

About the Show

One blind spoonful could change everything on ABC’s “The Taste.” This new cooking competition show is literally all about taste.
Sixteen competitors, from pro chefs to home cooks, whip up dishes attempting to impress four of the world’s most notable chefs.  The catch is all the dishes will be judged in a blind taste test. In this pressure-packed contest, the taste of a single spoonful can catapult a contender to the top or send him packing.
“The Taste” features no-holds barred chef Anthony Bourdain, British food star Nigella Lawson, expert chef and author Ludo Lefebvre and restaurateur Brian Malarkey. Each of the four culinary superstars and “Taste” mentors – Bourdain, Lawson, Lefebvre and Malarkey – will coach a team of four competing pro and amateur cooks chosen from a nationwide casting call as they vie to create the best tasting dish.
In each episode, the groups will face team and individual challenges with a variety of culinary themes through several elimination rounds. At the end of each episode, the mentors will have to judge the competitors’ dishes blind, with no knowledge of whose creation they’re sampling, what they’re eating, how it was prepared or whom they could be eliminating.

BRAZIL SKY COVERED IN SPIDERS! THIS IS SURE TO MAKE YOUR SKIN CRAWL!

A NIGHTMARE COME TRUE FOR SOMEONE WITH ARACHNOPHOBIA! I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT BRAZIL BUT IM STARTING TO RECONSIDER THAT THOUGHT NOW! SHEESH!

This 'rain of spiders' was filmed in Santo Antonio da Platina by a local resident, Erick Reis.

"I was shooting an engagement party for some friends of mine and I saw the spiders when I was leaving, now in the late afternoon. I've never seen anything like it before" said Reis.

Mr. Reis stated that the spiders were trapped in webs and moved a lot. "Well even stranger, I was so distracted that I forgot my camera in the rain." laughs Reis.
A biologist who specializes in spiders of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR), Marta Fischer, examined the picture and said that the phenomenon is normal and occurs mainly in the cities of São Paulo. "This type of spiders are known to be quite social.

They are usually in trees during the day and in the late afternoon / early evening construct a sort of giant sheets of webs, in order to trap insects.
